We exist in a physical place, on Carretera Oriente in Ajijic. You are welcome to come in, sit down and review your itinerary on screen with us.

What people ask before getting in touch
Where is the Lago Travel Services office?
Lago Travel Services has a single office, on Carretera Oriente 58C, Ajijic Centro, Chapala, Jalisco, postcode 45920, Mexico, on the stretch of road linking Ajijic with Chapala. We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If you find another address for us in an online directory, it is out of date: this is the current one.
Is Lago Travel Services a registered travel agency?
Yes, and you can verify it before paying us anything. We are listed in the National Tourism Registry of Mexico's Ministry of Tourism under certificate number 041403096F042, and we are an active member in good standing of AMAV Occidente A.C., where we appear under the code amavgdl48. Both registrations are public and can be checked online.
What kind of travel does Lago Travel Services arrange?
Tailor-made journeys designed from scratch, guided tours worldwide, all-inclusive packages, flights and hotels booked separately, cruises, destination weddings, school trips and corporate groups. We handle both domestic and international destinations, for solo travellers, couples, families, schools and companies.
Do you put together packages to Cancun and the Riviera Maya departing from Guadalajara?
Yes. It is one of the destinations we are asked for most from the Lake Chapala area. We build the complete package with the flight out of Guadalajara, airport transfers, all-inclusive accommodation and optional tours, and we show you several hotel and airline combinations so you can weigh the price against what each one actually includes.
Do you work in English with the foreign community in Ajijic and Chapala?
Yes. A large part of our community came to Lakeside from another country, so we work in English with the same clarity as in Spanish: quotes, contract, insurance cover and travel documents. This website is also available in full in English.
Do you only serve the Lake Chapala area, or Guadalajara too?
Our office is in Ajijic and we serve the whole Lakeside area — Ajijic, Chapala, San Antonio Tlayacapan, Jocotepec and the neighbouring villages — but we also work with clients in Guadalajara and the metropolitan area, and with travellers anywhere in Mexico who prefer to deal with us by WhatsApp, email or video call.
